Do you see flickering lights that appear out of nowhere? Orbs? Strange rainbow colors?
Perhaps shadows that walk past you and no one is really there?
Or even dream real clearly of a coming apocalypse, or tragic future event, and no one believes you?
They say it was just a dream and you're crazy….
Congratulations…. you are a Seer!
Well, at least at the beginnings of one.
The Seer gift, is a divine gift and usually comes through birth. It is the ability to see past the supernatural veils into the spiritual world where Angels, Demons, and Divine Creatures exist. Perhaps you have been privileged to see a full Angel present in your house, or even an ugly demon lurking around, or in people, these are the beginnings of the Seer gift.
The Miriam-Webster Dictionary definition states a Seer is:
1. one who sees.
2. a. one that predicts events for developments b. or a person credited with extraordinarily moral and spiritual insight.
3. one that practices divination (this is demonic inspired allowing demons access to give you insight to world matters via lying deceitful spirits)
The Bible says:
A seer is one who sees with spiritual eyes. He perceives the meaning of that which seems obscure to others; therefore, he is an interpreter and clarifies eternal truth. He foresees the future from the past and the present.
Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 6:17
WHAT IS A SEER?
A Seer is person who sees into the spiritual world, in visions, open visions, or in dreams, or if advanced in their everyday walking life, where the supernatural is open to you all the time. They can see beyond the natural and enter into the supernatural, even go into trances where they could be laying on the floor for hours under the anointing of the Holy Spirit and can't move until the vision has dissipated, and even after that they can still be under for a while until they come back to normal. I know, I've been there!
They can see beyond the natural, when the person without the gift just sees a car, a road and a tree, they see a car, a road, a tree and an Angel standing by the tree, giving directions, waving or smiling. A Seer can enter into the spiritual world on purpose and at will, or wait for God to show them something, either way they can see, Angels, Demons, Portals, Universes, Beings, Courtrooms, and even God!
In Amos 3:7, we are told God revealed powerful visions to the Prophets, who were Seers, to provide supernatural navigation, direction, and guidance to those who inquired of God.
For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7
A Seer also has x-ray vision.
They can see into people's lives, thoughts, pasts and futures, what's blocking them, what's causing them trouble, prophetic words written over them, and more... there are endless possibilities. Even when a person puts up a wall not to let anyone in, a Seer can see beyond the wall and right past it without any blockage or issue at all.
Example:
Once we were in Church and a girl had come up to me and a friend to say hello, immediately, I saw in her spirit that she was hiding behind a huge stone wall of safety, she would not let anyone in past this point, but I was able to see past the wall, in fact, jumped right over it and saw a field of lush green heading towards an ocean. When I confronted her about it she denied it the first time, as that's exactly what she was doing, she was trying to stop me from seeing in, but it didn't work.
The Seer gift allows you to see beyond what people are trying to do...
it shows you the truth and nothing or no one can hide from you. This is what I believe Jesus was saying that He was doing what the Father was showing him, this is how he did it!
Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does. John 5:19
WHAT CAN A SEER ACCOMPLISH?
Seers were advisors and counselors of kings. The Seer Gad, although only mentioned a few times in the Bible, was a key advisor to King David! When David needed help, advice or divine answers, he went to Gad! David couldn't see into the realm as a Seer, but as a Prophet, he could hear God's voice. David followed the leading of the Holy Spirit that came upon him then and would leave. We now have the Holy Spirit within us and access 24/7 to divine supernatural advice and counsel from the Spirit of God. But Seers already have an in-built in them with the ability to hear, see and speak with God. Their role is edify others and help them by giving them the truth, to change direction and put them on the right course, but most importantly, giving them Heaven's perspective.
Then the prophet Gad said to David, “Do not remain in the stronghold; depart, and go into the land of Judah.” So David departed and went into the forest of Hereth. 1 Samuel 22:5
FOUR DIMENSIONS OF A SEER?
There are four dimensions of the seer’s vision in the prophetic realm:
Prophetic Insight – the ability to understand root issues in any situation or circumstance. They understand people’s motives, hidden agendas, and even what they are planning. They can see into a matter beyond the persons perspective, evaluate the problem, see in-depth and tell them the truth. They also have extraordinary insight to counsel, providing divine wisdom, and heavenly inspired solutions. Prophets can also be “spiritual detectives”, they can pray and immediately go to Heaven, or go to the Courtrooms of Heaven, and get immediate answers to what is causing the person their issues; this could be past sins, ancestors sins, demonic strongholds, bad habits, witchcraft, or even bloodline issues. The problems are endless but the solutions are instant!
Prophetic Foresight – the ability to see into the future and see things before they happen. By seeing things ahead of time or in advance they can provide strategies and prayers to counterattack or stop an attack. They also have the visual perception to predict events, happenings, and pending things in the future.
Prophetic Oversight – the ability to understand prophetic context, ecosystems, service roles, functions, and perspectives.
Prophetic Hindsight – the ability to see things that are in the past. They have the ability to comprehend things that have occurred in someone’s past or events that consequently affected the present and could potentially alter the future. This is because there is no time limits in the spiritual realms. Once you are in the light you can move into any dimension. Prophets are natural spiritual historians who understand the pages, books, writings, and literature of history, or even obtain this information. Their eyes can read the writing on the walls of a person’s history, or read their book in Heaven. Prophets have a powerful prophetic ability to see and read into someone’s personal and spiritual background, even if the person is lying, the spirit always tells them the truth. Their gift of discerning of spirits gives them a higher level of perception to understand someone’s spiritual profile.
WORD OF WARNING: In the ancient past, some Seers called themselves Oracles, these Oracles unfortunately spoke to demon gods and were demonically inspired, as in Ancient Greece, the Oracles would deliver messages from the "gods." One of the main stories claimed that Pythia delivered oracles in a frenzied state induced by "vapours rising from a chasm in the rock, and that she spoke gibberish, which priests interpreted as the enigmatic prophecies." According to earlier myths, the office of the oracle was initially possessed by the goddesses Themis and Phoebe.
Formerly in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he said, “Come, let us go to the Seer,” (today's “prophet” was formerly called a seer.) 1 Samuel 9:9
MY EXPERIENCE
My first vision I had was when I was 2 years old, I didn't understand it at the time, I thought what I was seeing was real and happening right in front of me, but it wasn't. To confirm what I saw, years later my brother and sister who were sitting with me that day on the porch were seeing the same vision too, told me they saw the same thing, they have the gift as well, I found that out years later when we sat down together and spoke about that day and experience. But it didn't end there. The older I got the more I saw, it was part of me and I didn't know how to operate it, how to turn it off or on. This was hard to figure out, especially where there were no Prophets here to guide us or mentor us. But as I grew I learnt, and soon was guided by the Holy Spirit once I became saved and entered into the Kingdom of God. The gift was part of my DNA and no one could change that! Even though my mother didn't want us to talk about it growing up we couldn't change the fact that we just saw a multitude of angels, or demons, roaming around the house. The more I engaged, the more I learnt, and soon enough the further I went into the Heavens and supernatural dimensions.
But before that the visions would just appear out of nowhere and were really hard to control. They weren't as pretty either, as the first vision was a gigantic tsunami washing my family who were frantically away like an apocalyptic event, but the prophecy in the vision was for the future that they would be saved and washed in the waters of Heaven. Even though it looked scary at the time and I thought my family were going to drown, it was a prophetic vision of the now saved family!
When we were young, demons were wreaking havoc on my entire family, it was as though we were living in the devils den with all his minions tormenting us consistently, an endless nightmare and horror movie that just wouldn't end!
We'd see all types of beings, small to tall, walking through walls or pulling us deep into the netherworld. I can't forget most of my visions even to this day, they are so clear like it was yesterday. The one that frightened me the most was when I was twelve years old, I experienced a horrific encounter with a real live demonic being. It was a moonlit night, the room was dark, and I was awoken by what felt like something shifted in the room. When I opened my eyes standing in my presence trying to frightening me and persuade me to have sex with it. Of course, I was frightened to death, frozen with fear and couldn't move, I tried to remove it with the Muslim prayers that I was taught, but they didn't work, it just laughed at me, it was in control and it knew it!

What I found out was being a Seer is a divine gift! God had planted it in my DNA before I had even come to Earth, it was part of my DNA make up. I didn't need anyone to activate it, it was already there and working. But I have learnt that once you are saved by Jesus Christ, the divine Savior of the World, you will be able to activate it and cultivate with the help of the Holy Spirit, because He is the gift giver. Jesus had many wonderful supernatural gifts and being a Seer and a Prophet was also on the list.
Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and “God has visited his people!” Luke 7:16
At a young age, I couldn't control the visions, being visitations, or stop the encounters, but I learnt, as you grow in your knowledge and wisdom of the Kingdom and how to operate in your gifts you will learn to do so. Now, I understand how to in a lot of levels of the realms and I am able to see into the supernatural at will.
What I have also learnt is that those who have received the Holy Spirit can activate spiritual sight through specific prayers that remove the dark veils that are placed over our eyes, you can break through the boundaries of the natural into the supernatural. But you have to do the work, saying prayers, removing veils, and working with the Holy Spirit so He can give you the gift via desire and simply asking!
In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. [2 Corinthians 4:4]
I have been able to travel to Heaven on many occasions at will. My first encounter with the out of body travel was at 17, when I went to Heaven. I willed myself off this planet and saw my spirit leave my body, be conscious of where I was, then speed up into the clouds then up into first level Heaven where I was greeted with people eating fruit from the luscious trees by a crystal clear river. This sent me on a journey to wanting to know more about the supernatural and what was this gift that was given to me, and how to operate in it.
I believe you have to learn to understand your gift. There is no real download - here is your gift, and here is the manual, now go be a hero - it doesn't work like that! You need to ask for help, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and send you mentors to help you grow in your divine abilities. Seeing into the supernatural is endless, there are endless things to see in the Heavens, rooms full of vases and scrolls, libraries, beings to greet you, courtrooms, planets etc it is endless but you won't see them unless you engage with Heaven. Make time to visit Heaven, go on purpose and at will, and God will reward you with revealing His secrets to you, as you become more trusted with responsibility of the spiritual realms, He will give you more access!
But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10
